Treatment Approaches
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been demonstrated to be effective for depression, anxiety, marital problems, and eating disorders. Research shows that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) teaches skills for managing intense emotions, coping with challenging situations, and improving relationships. It is also used to treat depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, and substance use disorders.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is a psychological treatment that teaches individuals to accept their thoughts and emotions as valid responses to situations, rather than avoiding or struggling with them. ACT can help treat many psychological problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, workplace stress, and chronic pain
